I think for me it was forcing 32 bit that cleaned it up for me. You may need to 'verify your game cache' if you are still having issues. Only remove the contents of these folders, leave the empty folders. The Two folders are located in rFactor2/UserData/Player/Logs. If you have any issues make sure to first clear you Shaders and Cbash. Open the file CustomPluginVariables.JSON located in rFactor2/UserData/PlayerĪdd a '0' to all third-party plugin entries, example: IMPORTANT NOTE: Disable all third party plugins for DX11 and VR I have been reading there is a process to install- steam forum The lighting on the tires and the shadows are very nice. 40-45 fps for me with some stuttering down to 20 fps. Ive had to lower my video settings and force 32 bit to get it stable. I need to make sure everything is working properly before giving green light to the Spanish GP. In the meantime, I'm holding off the release of the Circuit de Catalunya until after the new rF2 build gets released. I read that they will still allow users to downgrade to DX9 if needed, we'll have to see how that works. I would assume also that the TrackMap plugin will also be affected by it. hay algun plugins para poner un mapa en la pantalla estoy configurando el rfactor2 y he probado el TrackMap pero se me cierra y he leído que no funciona con DX11, pero no encuentro otro. It is expected that many plugins will not work with this new build, that includes our TV Overlays plugin for the live streams. rFactor 2 addons, Información general y ayudas mapa y spotter en rfactor2. Our tracks also fall under the same bullet point for our mod.
Trackmap rfactor 2 dx11 mod#
We are hoping that our current mod will work as-is with this build, but we must also be aware of issues with it due to the move from DX9 to DX11. Improved physics (according to what they've said in their recent posts) It will include DX11 support which is a huge improvement coming from DX9. Some of you already know but in case you don't Studio 397 is planning to release a new build of rFactor 2 this Monday, May 1st.
If we want these sims to progress we have to deal with the facts at hand. I know Ken will be mad & have a head full of steam over this lol. so when planning the rf2 events keep in mind that some of the older tracks will not be worth driving once the next build with new UI comes out, (i have herd it will be in the first 90 days of 2018). If you look back at the DTM series I selected ONLY DX11 tracks.
Trackmap rfactor 2 dx11 update#
I can tell you that most tracks (worth driving) are now converted to DX11 but there will be thoe's that have no more support from the guys that did the conversions so they will die a slow glowing death until someone steps up to do the DX11 update (talking to the guys on the forums its not that big of task they just have to remove some old shaders & adjust some others). This is going to be a big issue as we move on. The Baku is one of thoe's so so,not so good conversions and is NOT DX11 so it will be a glowing mess. It's important that everyone that was using DX9 version clear out the 2 folders cbash & shaders found in the userdata/LOG folder don't delete the folders leave them in place just empty all the old dx9 files out of them. Ken I also have win 7 = no issues with rf2 DX11, for me the latest build is by far the best so far. Hi guys, John I asked Marcel at s397 about that & he told me that the code is now implemented for the delta best ,its in the dev mod tools for modders to build a delta best program now ,and they (s397) will have one with the new UI but for now its only thet the code has been added, unless some modders get busy & build us 1 ! (this is the LAST version that will still support DX9 so might as well get things sorted now)
